Most schools have somewhat of a dress code policy whether it be very strict or not too serious. The question is, when is it okay to break the rules? When schools have spirit weeks or events to dress up for, is it okay to bend the dress code a bit? It always comes up and students are left wondering "is this okay to wear?". I think that during spirit weeks, kids should be allowed to dress more freely than what they are usually restricted to wear. It's fun to paint you're face, wear hats, or even see some boys wearing girl shorts. Minor dress codes are being broken but it's all in good fun. Do you think dress codes should be as strict or followed to the dime during spirit weeks or other big events at school?
